1. Arrival: skip the taxi queue

2. Moving between hotels
Ubud to Uluwatu takes around 1.5–2 hours. Book a car for the transfer and ask the driver to stop somewhere on the way — Tegenungan waterfall, a coffee plantation, or lunch in Sanur. It turns a boring transfer into a half-day trip for little extra.
3. A scooter for two
Riding together through rice fields at golden hour is one of the most romantic things you can do in Bali — if you have the right bike and the rider is confident. Choose a Yamaha NMAX or Honda PCX: a longer seat, more power for two and better brakes. A Scoopy is cute in photos but cramped with two adults.
