Daily Scooter Rental in Bali: Price per Day, Hours & Tips

A daily scooter rental in Bali suits short trips of 1–4 days, a single day out to Ubud or Uluwatu, or a stand-in while your monthly bike is being serviced.
Prices per day
Typical ranges: Scoopy IDR 70–100k, Vario and Fazzio IDR 80–120k, NMAX IDR 120–180k, PCX IDR 130–200k and XMAX IDR 250–400k. Expect 10–30% more in July–August and over Christmas and New Year. See the full price list.
A day means 24 hours
Most Bali rentals count a day as 24 hours from handover. Pick up at 2pm, return by 2pm the next day. Many allow an hour’s grace; after that you pay hourly or for an extra day. Agree on this in WhatsApp.
When daily is the right choice
For 1–3 days, daily wins. From 4–5 days, compare with a weekly rental — it is often the same price or cheaper. Staying three weeks or more? Go monthly.
Extras to ask about
Delivery fees (less often free on daily rentals), the deposit, fuel level on return, and whether a second helmet, raincoat and phone holder are included. Before riding off, run through our inspection checklist.
